Laurence and Cecilia Kipp Librarian Education Scholarship

Candidates for this prestigious award shall be enrolled in the VCSU Graduate Program seeking a Master of Education degree with a concentration in Library and Information Technology at an above-average academic standing. If candidates are not available from the master’s program, a candidate may be selected from eligible students who have declared a library minor in the undergraduate program at VCSU. If there are no students eligible, the scholarship will be awarded to a student in the Master of Education or Master of Arts in Teaching programs at VCSU selected by the Dean for Graduate Studies & Extended Learning along with the VCSU Graduate Council. The recipient will be selected by Dean for Graduate Studies & Extended Learning along with the VCSU Graduate Council and reviewed for eligibility by the Office of Financial Aid according to University procedures.
